NCRA Announces Rescheduling of Two Late Model Events
 
PARK CITY, Kan. (June 10, 2008) - Officials of the O'Reilly/NCRA late model series presented by ICM/Ethanol have announced the rescheduling of two dates that were rained out during the Memorial Day weekend.
 
   The series stop at the 7th Annual Alphabet Soup at I-80 Speedway at Nebraska Raceway Park in Greenwood, Nebraska has been scheduled for Wednesday night, July 2. It will be the first of a four race, 4th of July swing which will see the tour then head to Eagle Raceway in Lincoln, Nebraska on Thursday night before celebrating the Fourth of July at the Belleville High Banks. The series then will head south to Enid Speedway Park in Enid, Oklahoma on Saturday night to end the swing. The Alphabet Soup race will be completely reran with Super Late Model qualifying races (there will be no group time trials) starting at 7:00 PM. The ticket stubs and pit passes from the May 25th rainout will be honored.
 
   Then Sunday night, August 3, will be the rescheduling date for the Heartland Park Topeka race in Topeka, Kansas. It will end a three day weekend series for the tour as they will be competing at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska on Friday and Saturday night.
 
      
The 25th Anniversary season of the O'Reilly NCRA late model division promises to be huge as close to twenty-three drivers have indicated their intentions on competing full-time with the series in 2008. NCRA is the nations longest running late model sanctioning body in the country and twenty races are scheduled for this season.
 
The National Championship Racing Association is entering it's 38th season of sanctioning dirt track races, this year in five different states in its sprint car, modified and late model divisions combined.
